Sleek Blush By 3 in Californ.I.A. review

Hi people! This week the review is of one of the products that I’m bananas about it: blush. But in particular this one has me head over heels and is the Sleek Blush By 3 in Californ.I.A., I can just say I LOVE IT! even though one shade is too pale for me.

When describing this product Sleek tell us the same of all of them:

“The ultimate cheeky palette offering you three times the impact. Includes three complementary shades, each designed with its own distinctive finish, from rich shimmers to intense matte shades.”

I love the idea of three colors of blush in one palette, so Sleek you're a genius. I love the size and the fact of having a good sized mirror, however for some reason the packaging ends up peeled and that annoys me.

As these are cream blushes you can't find matte shades, but this palette has two colors with shimmer and one without it. The three colors are gorgeous; Newport peach is a warm pink with silver shimmer, The surf is a light peach with golden shimmer and OC is a rosy brown without shimmer.

At first I was worried of the silver shimmer in Newport peach but it doesn't look bad nor clash with my undertones; it just look luminous and only if you look really near, you can see the shimmer. With OC I didn't have any problem is the perfect rosy brown shade I like to use when I only want a natural flush. Both have a really good color pay off and I only need just a little of product.

However The surf doesn't show off on my skin tone, I can only see the shimmer and just a really tiny bit of color, that's why I use as a highlighter, the shimmer isn't obvious but you can see it. I like using it on top of the other two shades or even mixed with Revlon cream blushes, I have actually tried topping it over a powder blush and it works too but I don't love the results.

All of them can last on me around six to eight hours even without translucent powder over them. Also all of them are on the creamier side being The surf the creamiest and OC the less creamy.

Really off-topic 1: I've just watched The Revenant and I'm pretty sure Leo is winning the Oscar this year, Eddie was also great in The Danish girl but Leo hit it out of the park.

Really off-topic 2: I'm at my grandma's house and instead of writing I had to save the bathroom from flooding, it was the most glamorous scene of the day. Also I found a pair of short that my mom used in the 90's and I'll take them with me #I'mfancylikethat.
